The purpose of our Student Ministry at HGC is the same as our church overall: to help students to develop into fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. With everything that pulls and yells for their attention, our goal is for students to realize the true life that is found in Christ! We have many different opportunities for students to get involved. From Bible studies to retreats and youth groups, we would love for you to join us.

We call our middle school youth group “Elevation” as our goal is the same of that in John 3:30, that He becomes greater in our lives and in the world. We are meeting weekly as we seek to have an awesome time together and grow in our relationship with Christ. Anyone is welcome, so we hope to see you out soon!

YOUTH GROUP Friday 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. | Room: theLoft (Y-401)
This is an awesome, action-packed night where we play games, hang out, and of course worship the Lord and learn more about Him. We encourage all the students to bring their Bibles and turn off their phones!
BIBLE STUDY Wednesday 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. | Room: Y-301
The purpose of Bible study is to grow in relationships with each other and the Lord in a smaller, more intimate setting.
SMW (Sunday Morning Worship) Sunday 10-11am | theLoft (Y-401)
At SMW we begin in theLoft with 6-12th graders and then split up into small groups by grade and gender. Leaders share a Bible lesson and discussion with the small groups.

YOUTH GROUP Sunday 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. | Room: theLoft (Y-401)
A great place for “first timers” as we have a bigger group of students on Sunday nights than other groups. On a typical night we spend time in musical worship with a student-led band, hear a relevant message on how the Bible applies to our lives, have small groups for discussion, and spend time hanging out.
BIBLE STUDY Wednesday 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. | Room: theLoft (Y-401)
Bible study is one of our favorite times of the week. We truly feel there is nothing that transforms a life like the power of the Word of God, so we dig deep into the text each Wednesday, seeking what God wants to show us through it! Anyone with any level of Biblical knowledge is welcome to come.
