..In fact, God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. If they were all one part, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, but one body. – 1 Corinthians 12:18-20
At Hawthorne Gospel Church, our vision is to be a place of comfort and accessibility for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (Deaf/HOH) Community. Less than 2% of the Deaf know Christ, and Less than 5% of churches are equipped to serve the Deaf/HOH Community. We desire to be at the forefront of changing that statistic.
The Deaf Ministry’s desire is to enable and encourage the Deaf/HOH:
- To become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ;
- To become part of the church body;
- To have a place to worship and learn about God’s Word;
- To minister and disciple each other to abide in Christ.
