Bible Classes

God’s desire is that every follower of Christ would be growing and maturing in their faith. The purpose of HGC Adult Education is to provide an environment in which intentional, Biblical-based learning is the focus. Our goal is that all our teaching, learning, and studying would help us in the process of becoming more Christ-like, connecting to others, and serving in our churches, our communities, and around the world.

Class Offerings

We have plenty of classes throughout the week that you can be a part of to grow in your faith and understanding of God!

The two main class blocks are Hawthorne Community Bible School and Adult Bible Classes.

Hawthorne Community Bible School typically happens on Monday nights (but we also now offer classes throughout the week). Founded in 1934, the Hawthorne Community Bible School is the oldest Bible school in the New York Metropolitan Area.

We also have Adult Bible Classes on Sunday morning. These classes happen during our middle service at 10:00am. You can go to one of the services, then join a class to study God’s word in a much deeper way.
