Janice Johannesen serves as Director of Women’s Ministries. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Seton Hall University and a Master of Social Work from Fordham University. Before joining the church staff, she served in ministry at her church in Brooklyn, Utah, and later at Hawthorne Gospel Church, where she has been faithfully involved since 2018. She has a deep passion for sharing the hope of the gospel, equipping women to know and love God’s Word, and cultivating an authentic, Christ-centered community. Her desire is to see women grow in their relationship with the Lord, encourage one another in the faith, and faithfully live out the calling God has placed on their lives. She and her husband, Eric, have three adult children: Kylie, Trygve, and Aubrie.
