Ladies R&R

This May our R&R speaker will be Carol Eng.  She will speak about "Taking a Stand".  There's an intense spiritual battle for the minds and souls of our children. They are being taught and exposed to ideologies that stand in direct opposition to God's Word. Carol will share her personal journey in battling school boards, public school curriculums and the anti-God culture that is quickly permeating our public education system. Her desire is to share her story and encourage women to be bold and vigilant in standing up for the truth of God's Word wherever God has you.

Fall Women's Conference
November 12 from 9:30 to 3:30
We are very excited to have Alisa Childers join us as our speaker this year.  As a lifelong church-goer, follower of Jesus, and former CCM recording artist with the Dove award-winning group ZOEgirl, Alisha experienced a period of profound doubt about her faith in her mid-thirties. She felt as though she had been tossed in a stormy ocean of uncertainty with no life jacket or  lifeboat in sight. She didn't know where to find answers to her questions, or if answers existed at all. Did she have to accept it all on some kind of blind faith?  She began to investigate her faith intellectually—she took seminary classes and read everything she could get her hands on. This began her journey from unreasoned doubt into a vibrant, rational, and informed faith.  Whether you're a seeker, a doubting Christian, or strong Christian wanting to become better at articulating your faith, you are invited to come and hear Alisa's story as she jumps into the deep end with us to tackle the tough questions together. Registration opens for this event on June 1st at https://hawthornegospel.churchcenter.com/registrations/events/1268409
