John W. Minnema holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Montclair State University and a Master of Theology degree from Dallas Theological Seminary. In 1982, Pastor John began his ministry at Hawthorne Gospel Church as youth pastor and has been Senior Pastor of Hawthorne Gospel Church since 1986.
