Bible Study Fellowships
SEEKERS OF HIS HEART
Ezra: Seeing things from God's Perspective is our study for the fall. We need to learn how to allow the Lord to guide our steps so that we can participate in His plans His way. There is no such thing as hopeless, too late, or too hard for the Lord. The best plans for us begin and end with Him! Only as He intervenes on our behalf in impossible situations can we learn to patiently wait for Him to move hearts. Meets in the Chapel.

Worship – A Response, Not a Reaction
Alicia’s “buzz word” is “response”. This conference is a 2 part series where Alicia defines and describes the core definition of worship. Alicia shows what a right response to biblical truth should look like in modern culture. “Worship, in its total essence, is a response to truth, not a reaction to circumstances.” –Alicia

Deep Roots: A Journey Through Scripture
A God of Creation is a study of Genesis 1-11 by Jen Wilkin. The opening lines and chapters of Genesis teach us fundamental truths about God. We watch Him bring light after darkness, order after chaos, and rest after toil - all through the power of His Word. Revisit familiar stories and historical figures, challenge your basic knowledge, and discover deeper meanings in the text. As God reveals Himself through Scripture, we can only begin to understand ourselves when we first glimpse the character, attributes, and promises of our Creator. Workbooks are available for purchase and childcare is provided by calling Sandy Lynn Bober at 973-427-6960 X166.
Begins Thursday, January 18th

HOME BASED BIBLE STUDIES
Sisters of the Heart
In The Friendships of Women, Dee Brestin encourages you to listen to your need for friendships and to find and strengthen those relationships. Relying on key biblical stories, this study explores what the story of Ruth teaches us about "rapport talk," how Luke celebrates the power of women's intuition, and what we can learn about avoiding unhealthy dependency from one of the most significant friendships in the Old Testament. With a passion borne from an intense belief in the power of friendship, this study guides your relationships to new levels of intimacy and trust. Engaging, honest, and deeply personal, The Friendships of Women will inspire you to see your desire for friendship not as a burden but as a gift.
This study will meet weekly in the home of Ruth Sekel in North Haledon. Space is limited. Please call Ruth at 201-248-9215
