Sunday School

Children's Ministry

We desire your children to come to know Jesus at a young age and for them to grow in their love for Jesus every single day. For this reason we have a lot of opportunities for Children at the Hawthorne Gospel Church.

Sunday School is offered during the 9:55 service and is a place for your child to learn about Christ’s love through bible stories, scripture memorization, and songs. Each of our Sunday school class curricula builds off of the previous years to build continuity. All Children’s Ministry programs will also be taking part in our Foundations of Faith curriculum which offers weekly at-home devotionals for families to do together.

Children 2 and younger will meet in the nursery
3 year-old class in C-1
4 year-old class in C-15
Kindergarten class in C-9
1st grade class in C-4
2nd and 3rd grade classes in C-10
4th and 5th grade classes in C-8

Children’s Church

Children meet in room C-8 during the 11:25 service to learn about God’s love through Bible stories, instructional videos, games, and crafts. Any child 4 and older may attend.

Nursery

Nursery is provided at all of our services, 8:25, 9:55, 11:25 and 5:00.

Special Needs

We also offer Buddies who can assist children and youth who need more one-on-one direction as they learn about God alongside their peers.
